Back in 1991, a struggling aspiring film and tv producer, Ken Rodrigues, launched another of his loves...Always There Pet Care. Having done freelance work for Nickelodeon on three national television shows, a ton of temp work, a stint as a Blockbuster Video Manager, and finally a Bellsouth Advertising Sales Rep, Rodrigues decided to strike out on his own and do something he had another passion for...Pets!
When I founded Always There in 1991, I asked myself one question, “What do people want to know while they are away?” The answer came to me instantly, “That we are Always There!” Thus, our mission to be the most reliable, responsive and professional pet company was forged. Call any of our competitors and you’ll be lucky if they’re still in business. You’ll be lucky if you get a live person, and even luckier if they call you back. You shouldn't have to work to give someone your business!
That’s not how we do things. When you call Always There, we take care of you fast and we get it right! As a matter of fact, if you’re a client in good standing we never turn you down for service! Consistent, quality service matters. “It’s in Our Name” and I guarantee it!

- Ken Rodrigues (President) hosted the radio talk shows “Pets and People” on Real Radio 104.1 FM in 1994 and “mAnimal Mondays” on AM 740 WINZ from 1996-1998.
SERVICE AREA
Always There is not only the largest pet sitting company in terms of clients (1,500), but is also the largest in geographic scope. They cover an area larger in size than the state of Rhode Island, approximately 1,400 square miles of Greater Orlando! You'll be hard pressed to find any pet sitting company in the United States serving such a large area. They cover from SR 46 in Sanford to the north, down to Celebration to the south of Disney, from Lake Pickett Road just past Alafaya Trail on the east, to SR 535 in Winter Garden to the west. If you're not sure if they service your area, simply give them a call and they'll let you know.
